Salvedad

A business management platform (ERP) with artificial intelligence for companies in Colombia: e-invoicing, accounting, payroll, inventory, point of sale and banking in one system.

How it is built

  • One platform, many companies: web, iOS and Android on the same system. Each company's data is kept apart, and that separation is checked on every request and in the database itself.
  • The AI does the work, a person approves it: 121 actions, such as invoicing, recording payments, moving inventory or running payroll. The AI prepares them and someone with the right role confirms with a tap or a passphrase. If nobody confirms, the proposal expires after 30 minutes, and everything is logged.
  • Real-time voice conversation: from the app, on web, iOS and Android. The AI looks up company data while you talk.
  • Connected to DIAN, Colombia's tax authority: e-invoices, credit and debit notes, support documents, POS receipts, receipt events and electronic payroll, with each document's status kept in sync. Filing with DIAN is always a person's decision: the AI only leaves drafts.
  • Quality you can measure: 1,268 automated tests that run on every change, with rules that cannot be broken: a read-only user cannot write, the AI never sends anything to DIAN and text inside a document is never taken as an instruction.

Paintball Medellín

The platform of a paintball club with two locations: online bookings, memberships, point of sale, inventory and an AI agent on WhatsApp.

How it is built

  • Bookings without phone calls: four steps from a phone, with each location's schedule synced to Google Calendar. Reminders go out by WhatsApp and email, and the day's closing and no-shows are recorded on their own.
  • An AI agent on WhatsApp, wired into the operation: it checks prices, availability and locations, reads payment receipts and understands voice notes. Every booking it creates waits for a person's approval, and whatever is outside its scope is routed to the team with a note in the CRM.
  • Memberships with their own economy: 12-month contracts, referrals with commissions settled by the system and partner businesses validated with a QR code.
  • The whole operation in one system: point of sale and inventory per location, seven access profiles and a panel to change prices and content without relying on a developer.
  • Engineering you can audit: more than 400 documented endpoints, 369 end-to-end tests, cryptographically signed webhooks and automatic backups.

What is Elio for Business?

Elio for Business is an AI advisory and engineering company. It diagnoses specific processes, recommends in writing what to do and, if the client decides to move forward, builds what it recommends inside their operation, with agreed scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria.

What does it mean that we also build?

A traditional consultant delivers recommendations. We also put engineers to work with your team, on your systems and with the data you authorize, until the solution works and is accepted. This model is known as forward deployed engineering. What repeats across companies, we turn into product.

Which artificial intelligence services does it offer?

AI advisory and process diagnosis, implementation and custom software development, operation and evolution of what was built, training, talks and workshops.

Which business processes can be automated with AI?

Usually repetitive processes with scattered information: customer requests, proposals and quotes, reading documents, management reports and internal questions. Every case is diagnosed before a solution is proposed, and we define which decisions a person reviews.

How much experience does the team have?

The team brings more than 5 years of building software for companies. Its projects include Salvedad, an AI-powered business management platform for Colombia, and Paintball Medellín, a booking, membership and operations platform for a club with two locations.

How does an AI project with Elio start?

How much does it cost to implement AI in a company?

It depends on the scope. Price and timelines are estimated for each engagement and written into the proposal, along with what is included, what is not and how it is accepted. If an existing product solves the need, we propose it before custom development.

Who owns what gets built?

Ownership, use and maintenance of what is developed are agreed in the contract for each engagement.

What information from my company do you need?

Only what the work requires, with authorized and limited access. You do not need to share sensitive information in the first contact.

Does Elio have its own products?

Yes. Elio for Retail, for retailers and service businesses that sell over WhatsApp, and Elio for Insurance, for insurance agencies and agents. Both are in development and coming soon. Elio for Insurance grew out of a pilot with an insurance agency in the United States.
